Our Heritage/History
GRC - Global Racers Community was founded by an Australian called Brendan (The Producer05) in early 2023. GRC quickly gained popularity as we originally branched off from Youtuber @MajSport. Our first to events were RATO Season 1 (Race Around the Ocean) which took place every Friday at 10Pm BST. This event was very popular as it had to have the RATO Sprint Races! Rather than the full Race on a Friday, the sprints was a chance for people to race who couldnt in the main RATO series. This Sprint Series was a Mixed Class Event every Saturday at around 6-7.00 BST. Then all carnage broke loose. 1 person trolled Maj by Ramming Him in the Gran Turismo 7 Daily Races, therefore he was banned, and another guy who just rolled his eyes at this troll was also kicked. This resulted in the end of GRC Sprints. After that, the Sprint Channels in Discord were changed to Puffinglys' HMA Endurance Championship, and for the sake of keeping a safe community, 3 Admins Sadly Left. Fast Forward a few weeks, the RATO Series stopped, and for now, that was the end of major series on GT7 for 2023. Later in that year, we joined SimGrid, and from there on we have Grown, Grown and Grown! We race on ACC, F1, IRacing, Gran Turismo 7 and we are thinking on racing on EA Sports WRC!
